Any credentialing by ACCORD must not be misconstrued or misrepresented to be a secular or governmental approval or license. Example: An ACCORD Certified Christian Educator may or may not be state certified. An ACCORD certified pastoral counselor may or may not be a state certified counselor. ACCORD certification must not be misrepresented as a certification awarded by any other certifying body. ACCORD will not be responsible for overt acts of deception, criminal acts, immoral or unethical activity by anyone who has been credentialed through our commission. ACCORD reserves the right to revoke credentials if our credentials are misused, and or if a credentialed individual or entity is determined to have acted in an illegal or unethical manner.
